Remorhaz and Driders, teleport to (15,10) Longsaddle Under text: You turn to leave the tiny room, but the door refuses to yield. The floor drops away and you are propelled down a dark and musty chute. You fall a very long way and are finally deposited in a cacophony of clanking metal on the floor of a beautifully decor- ated room. The opening from whence you came is nowhere to be seen. 10. (accidently skipped this number when I was numbering the map) 11. A sign above this gate says 'To Triboar' 12. A sign by the road says: 'North -- Longsaddle Westsouth -- Triboar 13. There is the smell of horses here, but aside from that the stables are empty. 14. Welcome! We are glad you're here to help defend us from the griffons. Beware of the road to the north -- I hear many stories of great lizards there, perhaps even dragons. 15. A sign by the road says: 'West -- Neverwinter Wood East -- Longsaddle' Travelling through Neverwinter Wood is dangerous, and only the mad even try. 16. A sign beside the gate says: 'Past this gate lies Neverwinter Wood where none dare to tread, neither evil nor good. Go back now, if survive you would. 17. 'Welcome, I am Ardanac Harpell, Lord of Longsaddle and friend to any and all adventurers sent by Lord Nasher to our aid. Many strange things have been happening here, but none stranger than the disappearance of no less than 3 farmers in the residential area in the west of the town. Find who or what stole them away from here and you may get to the bottom of the many troubles we face. 18. A sign by the road says: 'North -- Mirabar(Road Closed) South -- Longsaddle and Triboar 19. A brass plate bolted to this gate bears the inscription: to be opened only by those from beyond. 20. Shambling Mounds, teleport to (15,0) Longsaddle Under, text: The sham- bling mounds are dead, their everreaching tentacles and branches already wilting in the sun. So why are the vines wrapping themselves tightly around your ankles and pulling at you. You hack furiously, but for every vine you sever, 2 more take its place. You claw the moldy ground, but they pull you to the trunk of an immense, hollow tree and inside. Through the dark musty passages you're dragged, finally to be left hanging upside down like a plucked chicken from the ceiling of a stone cavern. After several attempts you are able to cut the vines and land on the floor with a painful thud. 21. Ettins, teleport to (2,7) Longsaddle Under, text: You poke through the hideout of the 2-headed maonsters, looking for any final shred of treasure. Instead of treasure, you find a wet, dark hole, just big enough to swallow your entire body when you unwittingly step into it. For a few moments you are stuck, unable to go up or down, but then the foul-smelling sides of the hole give way and you are unceremoniously dropped into the cavern below. The hole is now 10' above your head, much too high to ever hope to reach. You examine the man-made walls and realize there must be another way out.
